The five churches in the parish as well as local groups give to the Aid & Assistance fund that helps residents in our county who are struggling to make ends meet. People requesting help must call the parish office at 641-872-1569.
There are guidelines for the kind of help we can offer (rent, medication, utility bills, gas to get to appointments) and there is a limit to how much help a household can receive in a six month period through this fund.
